January 24, 25, 26, 2014: The Seventh Annual Sarasota Indian Festival takes place at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd, from 9-5 Friday, 10-6, Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday.
Experience the traditions and culture of the Native American people. Find handmade, one of a kind fine arts and crafts, paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, bead work and leather work, along with Native American food.
Medicine Tail drum will be sharing traditional Native American drumming, singing and various styles of dance throughout the weekend. Award winning flutist, flute maker and shell carver. Daniel Bigay of the Echota Cherokee Tribe, will be joining us this year as our guest flute artist. Nashville recording artist Traci Snowe will also be sharing her music with us throughout the weekend.
