Little Big Mountain and the Big Mountain dancers will be sharing traditional Native American drumming, fluting, singing and various styles of dance throughout the weekend.


Little Big Mountain is a fourth generation dancer, singer and educator on Native culture. The Big Mountain family’s performances started back in the mid 1800’s with Little’s great grandfather performing with the famous “101 Ranch Buffalo Bill Show.”

we would like to invite you to the upcoming 2016 Sarasota Native American Indian Festival at
Sarasota Fairgrounds on January 22,23,24. Come on down and join us for a weekend of Native
culture, art, dance, music and food!



Rex Begaye founded this festival with the intention to bring authentic Native American fine art and craft
to the Sarasota area.

It was his life’s work to educate and protect the Authentic traditional ways of his people.

The Sarasota Native American Indian Festival will continue this commitment and share the beautiful culture
of the Native American people with Sarasota…carrying on Rex’s vision~
